Sun Thisweek Article Highlights Eagan FTC

A recent article in Sun Thisweek featured information about Eagan High School robotics. The article highlighted how our program has grown beyond FRC to include an ever-expanding FTC program. You can check out the article here. We’d like to thank Sun Thisweek for helping to promote our teams!

FTC State Tournament

5 Eagan Teams – NERDS, The Q is Silqent, Robot Pi, Blue Nova, and Green Girls – went to the MN State Tournament in Columbia Heights on Saturday, Feb 22 2014. The Q is Silqent was selected for one of the final alliances, but they were eliminated in semifinals. However, they won the Stratasys Award for the best use of a 3D Printed part. The Green Girls were also nominated for the Motivate Award. Three of the Eagan teams were in the Top 10 for robot performance. Congratulations, teams!

Blue Nova Nominated for Awards

Team 5314 Blue Nova was nominated for the Stratasys Award, the PTC Design Award, and the Think Award, and won the 3rd place Inspire Award at the FTC Qualifier Tournament in Columbia Heights on Saturday, Jan 25. They had also already qualified for the State Tournament at a previous tournament. Congratulations, and good luck at State!

    2. Year in School
    3. Interests
    4. Reason for joining FTC
    5. Role in the team
  3. Robot Design Plan(s) -> include redesigns and changes
  4. Outreach/Demo activities or Team Info
  5. [Optional] Sustainability plan / Business Plan
  6. Images are encouraged
